The 3rd Millennium and It's Unique Voice

Author: John Adams

The 3rd Millennium is an Independent Production Showcasing Judeo/Christian Values.

Recently Hollywood and the whole world were electrified by the phenomenal success of two movies: The Passion of the Chris, followed by Crash. This could mean only one thing the answer to a desperate cry for faith and spirituality, which are the bases of love, compassion, and tolerance. It is evident that the misuse and manipulation of faith by religious and political leaders for centuries has not separated man from God. The downfall of atheist Soviet Union and the Eastern block regimes is the testament to this reality.

The 3rd Millennium is a most effective answer to the same cry combining The Passion and Crash into one strong voice.

Even though the story evolves around Jesus and Judeo/Christian morals and values, the movie cannot be labeled as preachy by the Hollywood critics. It is a mainstream human drama with broad dimensions that capture our imagination in a way thats never been done before in a motion picture. Its unpredictable and powerful contemporary story penetrates the soul in search of the highest qualities of human potential.

ISAIAH, a young African american man from the south who believes that the only good white man is a dead white man, goes on the most unexpected and fascinating journey with his white traveling companion to come to the conclusion that love and tolerance is the only way.

Market appeal

The 3rd Millennium was written with young as well as mature audiences in mind with a worldwide market appeal that derives primarily from an intriguing plot, unpredictable and unique storyline and the richness and scope of the characters. It takes the audience through a guessing game and a wide range of emotions from tears to laughter, then back to tears again, with a resolution that is gratifying to just about any one.

Considering the fact that reconciliation, peace, and tolerance is at its highest demand today, The 3rd Millennium is an uplifting journey that an audience, regardless of race, religion, and nationality must experience.

Budget and Market Potential

Traditionally there are 5 elements that make a movie potentially a box office success in a worldwide market:

1.Excellent screenplay with a unique story and wonderful characters.
2.Timeliness and worldwide demand for such movie.
3.Tight, conservative budget.
4.Excellent production value and casting.
5.The most effective distribution strategy and agreement.

Considering the global demand for such movie and the fact that our budget of 8 million dollars is even less than 10% of Titanic, The War of the Worlds or King Cong, we cannot imagine anything less than a box office smash.

Another reason for us to be able to meet the challenge of making a movie that looks like a 30 million dollars for only 8 million is that we seek the participation of those talents -- in front as well as behind the camera -- who believe in the same cause and consequently render their services for less financial compensation. So the quality will be the same but the cost much less.

A movie thats got so much going for it is destined to imprint itself in the memory of time as well as the heart and mind of a moviegoer.
