Are our Nuclear Power Plants safe from International Terrorist Attacks? Some are quite sacred about such things and part of this is the Osama bin Laden videotapes, that appear every so often. Some is the mass media hysteria at work again attempting to strike fear into the population base? In reality the Nuclear Power Plants in the United States are safe.

Most of our Nuclear Power Plants are fortified and protected with the understanding that they could potentially be targets from International Terrorists. Recently we have seen an upswing in the preparedness and defenses in these locations. There are barricades from truck bombs and all sorts of other security. It would take a lot of planning and firepower to over come those defenses and the FBI is hot on the trail of any potential in-country insurgent International Terrorists Cells. We should not fear an International Terrorist Attack in the United States on a Nuclear Power Plant, we should fear the mass media hysteria and the use of fear to control our way of life. We should be weary of those who seek to keep us in fear. And we should endeavor to overcome this fear and go hunt down the International Terrorists like OBL and win the War on Terror and not further burden our Nuclear Power Industry which can generate electricity in a clean and efficient manner.
