Doodlebops: Ticketnest

Author: Sara

Doodlebops is a unique kids educational com musical band. The Doodlebops is a Canadian musical comedy series for preschool children. Beginning its broadcasting run in 2004, the series, produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment that airs on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Canada in the CBC Kids morning block, and on the Disney Channel in the USA as a part of the Playhouse Disney morning programming schedule. The stars of the series are Lisa J. Lennox as Deedee Doodle, Chad McNamara as Rooney Doodle, and Jonathan Wexler as Moe Doodle.

The Doodlebops' characters are a kids' band, they are the creation as well as the inspiration of producer/director Jamie Waese of the series, along with Cookie Jar executive Michael Hirsh and Carl Lenox. These members have so many preschool-aged fans, in addition they are only known by their character names. All the members of Doodlebops wear heavy make-up and prosthetics to create a look like live-action cartoon characters. They also use to wear cloth hoods with fake ears during the show's debut season, though not anymore. The show is a fusion of music, humor and skits that teaches viewers especially the kids who the main audience of Doodlebops, valuable pro-social lessons.

The show always involves scenes from a concert (http://www.ticketnest.com/concerts-tickets.php ) performance, in front of preschool spectators who love to participate in the singing and dancing. Whereas in the second season of the show. The band members wear bright, flashier adaptations of their typical segments. Deedee the only female character of the band always play either a Keytar or a keyboard, second member Moe plays drums, and the third member Rooney plays the guitar.

Other members else than the main three members on the show include Kim Roberts as the Doodlebops' scat-singing Manager Mazz (Season I), Jackie Richardson as the Doodlebops' Manager Jazzmin (Season II), puppeteers Ron Stefaniuk as the voice of both Moosehead and Mudge the cat and Jason Hopley as Audio Murphy, the Doodlebops' canine musical engineer/video director (as of Season II) and Giovanni Catucci as Bus Driver Bob, their intrepid driver.

The plot of every Doodlebops episode depends mainly on the reuse of sequences. These sequences account for 3-4 minutes of the show's 22 minute running time. Reuse sequences are actually the video segments, which are shot once and consequently used in each of the 26 episodes that encompass one Doodlebops broadcast season. There are some examples of Doodlebops reuse sequences include "The Doodlebop Pledge", Moe's rope pull/water douse, and Get on the Bus", Concert Theatre Montage, and the infrequent Concert Song reuse. Some other sequences in the show are not alike reuse sequences; though occupy the same content, just precise to each episode. These sequences involve the following:
In the start of each episode, Deedee and Rooney enter their Clubhouse from the main swinging doors, whereas Moe is nowhere to be found. Audiences are asked to assist to find Moe's hiding place.
The Doodlebops' manager ("Mazz" - Season I and "Jazzmin" in Season II) enters the clubhouse always singing scat and speaking in rhyme, and goes with his pillow sentence "See you later, Alligator". This result in the Doodlebops' answer: "In a while, Crocodile".
When the Clubhouse scene ends, a whistle sound signals a mysterious rope to drop down from the ceiling in front of Moe. Regardless of Deedee and Rooney's caution "Don't Pull the Rope!" Moe doesn't listen, and he pulls it hard, always getting soaked with water (this is a reuse sequence). "Don't Pull the Rope" this sentence has become a branding slogan for the show, it has become so famous that it is also the name of a website that is provided to Doodlebops fans plus their parents.
Mazz or Jazzmin starts every Doodlebops concert with a rhyming introduction of the band.
Throughout the concert sequence of every show, a huge screen is brought down plus a video is played in which Deedee takes immense pleasure in irritating Mudge by illuminating to him a dubiously-funny knock-knock joke.
The Doodlebops also did a promotional mall tour involving few performances and autograph sessions in Canada through the fall and winter of 2005, and did a sixteen city concert tour in Canada March/April 2006.
Doodlebopss American in-person debut followed by a morning performance of Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 12, 2006. The performance was only ten minutes in length, after which the members rode circus elephants outside. Now a full American tour will begin in the late summer or early fall of 2006, starting with a four-day concert appearance schedule at Walt Disney World through Playhouse Disney In Concert August 2023 of 2006.weird.
